The ancient Predoi (German: Brettau) mine is one of the most famous wellness resorts in Valle Aurina South Tyrol. The mine fresh and dry air enters the respiratory apparatus and it catches its excessive humidity. The Predoi Climatic Gallery is open between April and the end of October. The "Street cooking" in Campo Tures in Valle Aurina
A gastronomic festival in Valle Aurina South Tyrol, popular with tourists and locals, is the "Street Cooking", which takes place in July and August every Tuesday evening from 19.30 till 22.30. It takes place in the center of Campo Tures (German: Sand in Taufers), the most important tourist resort in Valle Aurina South Tyrol. You can count on many stands here, offering many kinds of South Tyrolean and Mediterranean dishes. Entertainment is also present for children and their parents: music in the streets, games in the hay and so on. During the "Street Cooking" you can also admire the Valle Aurina South Tyrol craftsmen at work. The typical Valle Aurina craft is the carving of wooden masks.
